1. Using the information found on The American Heart Association web site, the teacher will teach the signs and symptoms of a cardiac arrest or MCI (myocardial infarction) using a smart board and computer with Internet access.
2. Present the "Heart Savers" CPR program and video to the class and students will practice using “Resussi-Annie".
3. Students will test their knowledge of CPR using computers with Internet access. They will access the web site Less Stress and use the CPR simulator. Evaluation/Assessment:
1. Successful completion of the "Heart Savers" CPR course.
